Indian River Land Company was incorporated in 1969 to buy, sell and invest in mostly unimproved real estate. The founders, Carlton R. Moore, Sr. and his early partners, purchased an office on Rt. 113, in Millsboro, in 1972, which served as a base for their development company and real estate office. Many projects have been developed in Sussex County and beyond as Indian River Land Company continued to expand its services to native Sussex Countians as, well as the growing number of vacationers and retirees.

Reincorporated in 1988 as Indian River Land Company, Inc., Carlton, along with his daughter Cathi Lind, son C.R. Moore, and nephew Lynn Moore, has developed many more projects and has become a full service real estate office. At that time the company expanded into the housing market and joined the Sussex County Association of Realtors with its Multiple Listing Services.

Today, Indian River Land Co., Inc. offers a variety of real estate services including sales, rentals, developing, appraisals, property management, and rental management. Over the years Indian River Land Company has developed and managed over 50 projects and communities.

With the expansion on to the Internet, Indian River Land Company continues to expand its services and show why it is one of Sussex County's leading real estate agencies. The founders appreciate the support given them since 1969 and will continue to look for more ways to meet your real estate needs as we travel through the 21st century.
